But as Pro Football Talk puts, there's the recent contract modification, which delays the deadline for Garrett's offseason option bonus from the 15th day of the league year into March until seven days before the regular season.
And that allows the Browns to trade Garrett without paying the option bonus.
That's still a lot of money if the Browns want to try to deal him.
