So, village life, we've loved it.

We feel more part of a community here than we ever did in London, but it's not forced upon you.

It's there if you want it.

We could easily remain anonymous.

I chose the former.

My husband chose the latter.

As always, we have a thriving local pub and a fantastic village shop, so you don't have to get in your car if you need a pint of milk or an emergency Cokey Z. There are so many beautiful country walks.

That after several years, I still don't know them all.

I think we managed to find the perfect balance of countryside living with enough stuff going on around us if we need it.

I never miss London.

But we can get there easily to see friends or be dragged to the IMAX.
