Sorry to interrupt, but at that age, at like 11, is it,
do you have to check yourself?
Like, should I try and navigate or you're just kind of being yourself and taking the hits?
I thought it was just a natural gift.
That was the, that was the old part of it.
So did you, when you start, when standup starts to be a bit of a thing and you're deciding, okay, I'm going to like head this direction, are you still writing plays on the side or is it because you had such a drama focus?
You were like, that's a separate thing from where I'm going to.
It's so hard.
That route is so hard.
And so, of course, I did stand-up comedy, which is infinitely easier, I guess.
But at least, yeah, at least when you're alone and broke, it's just you.
At least people there where you're counting on you.
My daughter's finding her way in New York now and all her friends are from college and they're all theater kids and they're getting productions going and stuff.
It's such a special time when you're young and the theater, I mean, stand-up's great, TV's great, it's all great.
but that thing, that communal theater thing is just making something with other people, like collaborating on that stuff.
Oh, what a great organization.
They are really good people.
