It wasn't probably surfing was starting to get backwards because those guys were progressing so far.
But I wasn't β my competitive juice was empty.

your career generally because it's I guess outside world it's like surfing seems like the sickest job yeah maybe not a job maybe like the career the career I guess say more career probably say you know the parts but kind of love what you do the surfing part none you'd never really you get like surfed out and be like I've surfed two weeks straight I'm having a couple of days off kind of thing but it didn't mean you're out of love with it kind of thing so but um
then I guess the competitive part would, you know, when you're at an event, there's usually lots of other things you've got to commit to and do all that, your commitments, but that part's the only real job part you'd say in the sport because you pretty much, it's pretty unbelievable to get paid to go surfing.
Yeah, I got up at five.
I surfed for two hours already.
