Even like –

the way's all right this morning i didn't really got one or two wasn't great i thought it was going to be a bit better i thought i was going to be better but i was still stoked that i got to go for two hours whereas when you're kind of in that competitive stuff i would have been really pissed this morning about the surf i had really yeah yeah i would have been over it i would have been trying to analyze it figure out what was rhythm board i wrote a new board it

from a different kind of cut that we were working on.

And I didn't really like it.

So I was like, oh, it doesn't bother me.

Whereas before that would have got in my head.

As in, I would have tried to fix it.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I'm like, oh.

Whatever.

Yeah.

Almost in 2011, a New York round event, and after it, I was like, I'm done.

I'm taking the rest of the year off at least.

I'm out of here.

I don't really care.

And then...

I just battled away for a couple of weeks.

I think I might have come home and then I had to go to Brazil and then off to Hawaii and then got to Hawaii and I was just – whether it was just because I had that wobbly head and I got back to Hawaii at the end of the year and just fell in love with it, like completely couldn't get enough of it.
