When you use the Ouija board, if you believe that this thing works, you and whoever else, let's take Tina and Karen in this instance, they would rest their fingertips.

They'd typically sit on opposite sides of the board.

They'd rest their fingertips on the edge of this planchette.

And the idea is you don't move the planchette at all.

You just rest your fingers on the planchette.

And if there's spirits in the room, the idea is they will...

You ask a question with your fingers, Tina or Karen asks a question, you know, hey mom, are you here?

You know, their fingers are on the planchette and if there's a spirit in the room, the idea is they will travel through your body and they'll manipulate your fingertips and they'll move the planchette around.

Part of the reason why Ouija boards have become so popular is it's so easy if there's a group of you to be the one person that sort of subtly moves the planchette and give the impression that like there's a ghost in the room, so.

It is what it is.

If you believe it or you don't, people say that Ouija boards are a way to talk to the dead.
