I then went to Newcastle because I wanted to play.
I was probably a bit older than Mo, maybe 34, maybe 33.
And once I knew I wasn't going to be playing regularly because I want to play football, I could have stayed at Liverpool.
But I went.
Because I wanted to play.
Now, I could see myself staying at Liverpool.
And had I been someone who said, listen, I know I'm going to be at Liverpool to go on the staff.
That's what I did.
I promoted from within.
But because those years I wanted to play, I left.

But I would have loved to have stayed at Liverpool.
Put it this way, had I been 36 and my contract was ending, I would have stayed at Liverpool and gone on to the staff and maybe gone on to do that.
And I think that would have been easier because you'll be given more time at your own club and the fans would love you.
So until you lost one or two games, then it's all different.
But that is something that may have been a possibility.
The film scheme thing.
