You can see it, you read it from top to bottom and left to right, but you can always see it.

That's a big, that's why when you're revealing the comic page,

you would normally go, you turn over the page and there's the shocking reveal.

Because otherwise you've already seen the shocking reveal because you've seen it.

But you don't read the ending.

OK, so if you if on the if on the second page you're looking at the main hero is ripped into and clearly dead, then there's going to be little surprise that you wouldn't do that.

Part of the craft of making comics is you go, we'll have the bigger reveal at the start of a page when you've turned it over.

Yes, except here, when the reader says, what a nice picture of Super Snowmen, the very next picture is it turns out they're not Super Snowmen, it's Lord Snooty and his gang.
