Well, they go and get in trouble with the Gasworks gang, and the Gasworks gang trick them by... The Gasworks gang makes Lord Snooty think that they're up a tree.

So little Steve is going to go and shake the tree, and then lots of snow falls on them, which was always going to happen because the tree is full of snow.

And it turns out there were teddy bears.

Why would the gasworks gang come out for the day with teddy bears?

The whole thing is just one of these.

It's just lame because for the most part, this annual is pretty good.

But this is one of those you go, what?

This bit isn't.

But that's a really old-fashioned... Again, that is really old-fashioned, isn't it?

Because that was in... When we looked at 80s comics, they're not there then, but in the 60s and 70s, they definitely are.

But I thought with this one, I thought, this isn't great, because what happens in this story is Roger decides to do 100 dodges in an hour.

and he's quite a good joke but you don't really see any of them you don't but what you do see is the artwork on this which is by franklin diamond it's fantastic is this so this is the cheeky weekly guy yeah but just look at how great this there's one where roger goes out and he says he just says oh it's two o'clock i've got to work 100 dodges or three o'clock and what he does he goes out the front of the house and looks at a church clock which appears to be over the road from his house

But there's a whole church there.

It just looks gorgeous.

And there's another bit where he's climbing over, looking over some railway lines.

There's all sorts of camera angles.

There's all sorts of detail going on.

And it's like, it's not necessarily that there are jokes going on in the background.

It's just, well, he's not held back.

He's just drawn lots of really gorgeous stuff there.
