The show was great, amazing experience, but now it's time to hunker down.
The biggest reason why I went to Draper University was to launch my startup, which is what I've done now.
Right now, we just finished our prototype yesterday, actually, and we're partnering with foundations to get a close-up.
That's absolutely my focus.
No.
So the whole thing with that was, you know, I stepped...
And I had a little bit of validation for the idea from outside of Draper.
But, you know, the staff really grilled me and they said, like, do you want, you know, is this going to work?
How exactly logistically is this going to play out?
And then Tim Draper actually said to me, John, where do you see yourself?
Like, what do you want to be in 20?
years and i was thinking and i said do i want to have something that like empowers massive change or do i want to help lazy college students right and so the the decision was obvious after that i need to go with this other idea so i just dropped study better and pivoted so what so quickly before we get into my favorite part of the show what is granted yes so granted is like netflix for fun
Yeah, it's like the Netflix for finding nonprofit grants.
So you go in, you fill out a quick profile, and what we do is we have a ranked list of grants for nonprofits.
Nonprofits can go in, and this totally cuts out all the research that they have to do.
We do that in our back end, and they can just click and apply.
So we actually have not started charging it.
Right now, we're just busy on perfecting the product, and we have users for free.
I can't say that right now.
Soon, though.
