Tough day.

Tough.

A little bit different.

Seemed like American League East back then, too.

Your powerhouses were the Yankees and Red Sox.

Because most of the time, if you're another team in that division, you were out of it by the middle of June.

Yeah.

And so finally we got over the hump.

But, you know, we had some good players, man.

Good players must also go along with that pitching and defense.

You know, my first go-round up there,

You know, I guess it had been like 22 years since the team, you know, they won it.

They won it back years, 92 and 93.

And so we'd always hear, you know, I mean, you know, and then, like I said earlier that we were out of it by the end of June.

So everything turned back to hockey, even though hockey was still number one, you know, it really went back to it when we faded, you know, but I can remember everybody saying, Hey, if you guys are relevant at the end of the year, you go into middle of August, definitely September, watch what happens.

Right.

but we never got there.

And then, and then I got fired the first time.

And then I, when I came back the second time, the, you know, the first couple of years we didn't get there, but in 2015, we finally did, like I said, it'd been that, that, that long.

It was amazing.
