On Wednesday, President Bush gave a press conference and one of the reporters there asked him about these rumors that the CIA was torturing prisoners.
And he looked right in the camera and he said, we do not torture prisoners.
And I said to my wife, who was a senior CIA officer, I said, he's a bald-faced liar.
He's looking the American people right in the eye, and he's just lying to us.
Two days later was Friday.
