So first things first, what was it like sitting face-to-face with James Tallarico for Surrounded?

I'm going to play you the first clip, which was from your initial interaction with him.

And his claim was, America is divided, but it's divided by top and bottom, not left and right.

And you kind of pushed back on that statement.

And so I'll play this clip and then we'll react to it.

So here's that interaction.

What comes to mind when you hear, you know, you just kind of relive that exchange?

Okay, so you're saying even at the top, when you've got all the money in the world, you're still divided by your ideology.

You're still putting your money where your belief system is the root.

It's a deeper root.

I see.

No, I think you make a good point there.

Something interesting, though, about Tallarico is he is a Christian, you know, and the right is typically associated with Christianity, and he's kind of carving out this new niche.

We'll see if it works or not.

Even though he's kind of steering towards the left, do you think so?

Although a lot of people are saying she's not tracking terribly well.

Are you conservative?

Yeah, he's running a really interesting campaign and he's kind of a unique figure to surface in Texas.

And, you know, something I think about a lot is a lot of people from California have been moving to Texas.
