He's been great.
I think that he's a confident kid and understands kind of what we're asking him to do and not trying to do anything he's not good at.
It's tough ass to go up there against Chris Sale, and I thought he handled himself really well.
I think he's just, he's not, he's keeping things very, very simple and it's working for him.
So in terms of the lower half, I mean, it's everyone's swing is a little bit different and, you know, it's not the traditional look if you will, but I think that with his bat speed and kind of his, you know, physical nature, you know, he hits the ball really hard and sometimes it looks a little bit different, you know what I mean?
And I think that our hitting coaches do a good job of not trying to,
pigeonhole or not trying to say okay this is what it should look like if it's working for a guy it's working for a guy and you kind of work around it john what makes nathan lucas a good baseball player that's it he's a baseball player you know he's a he's a good defender he runs the base as well he understands situations understands what he's good at he knows when to work account he knows when to you know be aggressive he knows when to take some shots you know it's just
the biggest compliment I can give a player usually is that he's a baseball player, you know, and I think Nate has been that for his whole career.
And I think, you know, the world was kind of just seeing that last year and this year to where he, he's going to, he's just consistent.
He's going to give you the same impact quality basically every night.
He's going to be trustworthy on the bases and in the outfield.
So that's,
he um he understands the game you know i think it's kind of a lost art you know today where you know he watches the game and he makes adjustments on what he's seeing too so it's uh it's really cool to watch him you know turn himself into a a big leaguer you know what i mean like last year everyone kind of saw that but he uh he keeps everything very very simple and if you need him to bond if you need him to move a guy if you need him to get a guy in
he just has a consistent approach every single night.
Yeah, I mean, maybe.
I mean, it depends on how he's feeling, how he's going, how he's performing, all that kind of stuff.
I think not just with him, I think with a handful of guys, I'm probably going to start looking at that because
they're playing a lot, you know what I mean?
And they're playing a lot.
And then, you know how it is, you know, you always expect the best version of guys when they're out there, but sometimes physically they're grinding or they're not, you know, exactly where they should be.
