I think that's all you're asking guys to do with AAA is to kind of force your hand a little bit.
He definitely did that.
And then matter of circumstance with kind of how we are physically made sense to get him here.
Just a shift in approach and kind of really focusing on some breaking balls, especially from right-handed pitchers, kind of going away from them and trying to get those things started a little bit closer to them, something that he did in the offseason, something that he worked on a lot in spring training and has carried it over to the season.
Another guy that when we acquire him, it's a guy that can hit the ball hard, and then you're trying to β
you know, fill in the gaps a little bit with some of the swing and miss.
Kind of that, you know.
I think he's got seven bags in AAA.
He's a physical guy, you know what I mean?
I remember in spring training, we had to tell him to kind of slow down sometimes, you know, just kind of like he's always on.
But for a big guy, definitely twitchy, fast, between just the speed, the base dealing, and the power.
Looking forward to kind of seeing him whenever we can get him in there.
Yeah, I think so, whether it's that off the bench or, you know, spelling somebody, you know, for a day, a third, or, you know, getting Vladdy the H-Day or something like that, playing first.
So, yeah, we'll kind of see how it lines up.
I know there's a lot of right-handed starters coming up, but he's actually handled them quite well this year.
We'll see how tonight goes.
I think mention both and see how tonight's game goes.
There's guys in AAA that we've kind of held off and may go into that depth too.
But a lot of it depends on how Corbin goes today and kind of what our bullpen looks like tomorrow.
