And he's, he's just a baseball player.
And I think that immediately he,
You know, we value that.
I value that, you know, and was very clear with him that that's an important part of a winning team.
So I think him knowing that, you know, allowed him to kind of stick with us a little bit.
Looking back even a couple of years ago, you know, I wish I played him more to start the season, you know, and again, gave him a little bit more runway.
I still joke with him about that, you know, when George was playing the outfield a lot.
And I think KK was here and Varsh was here.
I kind of wish I gave Nate a little bit more runway to kind of, you know, get his big league career off the ground, but,
It took another year and a half in battling some injuries, and we kind of see what kind of player he is.
And you never want to undersell what the player understands about themselves, really.
And it's worked out for him.
It's worked out for us.
And it's just a consistent big league player that understands what he's good at and tries to get better every day.
So it's a cool story, and I'm just really thankful that we still have him.

I think that was definitely a point of emphasis after the first couple of weeks or first month of the season to where you look up and we got we have some elite defenders that I think that we're expecting a lot out of.
And you look up after a month and you're like, OK, hold on a minute here.
Let's let's maybe we need to readjust some things.
But I think it definitely ties into him and Ernie getting used to kind of playing there every day and short in a second.
