The period piece is a very specific thing, kind of this very brooding, dark character.
To be able to play something contemporary that's funny and real and kind of, you know, someone that you could walk down the street and legitimately recognize.
If I walked down the street in Don Draper gear, people are like, what the fuck, what's going on here?
It's not Halloween, dude.
Like, what are you doing?
But if I, if I, you know, walked in, in, in Andrew Cooper gear, it's, this is a normal person.
And, and it's, uh, so there's a lot of like that familiarity with that kind of character, but also that kind of deal of like the 1%, you know, people that really live that crazy life.
How is that, you know, how does that work out?
And is that, is that all there is, is that the kind of thing that people really want?
You know, it's, it's fun.
It's a little bit wish fulfillment and
kind of fuck you to those people too.
For sure.
No, it's fun.
Fuck yeah.
I had done it basically since I was a little kid.
I was never like a child actor or anything like that, but it was just always something.
I was raised by a single mom.
My mom passed away when I was 10, so then I lived with my dad.
And then, you know, I was always in whatever extracurricular after-school activities I could get, you know, whether it was bowling team or Cub Scouts or everything, man.
