I think that's so interesting.
And I think this goes to the heart of actually what went wrong for her today when we thought it would all be the injuries on his side, because he does manage to thread the needle.
Now, admittedly, there is a bit of a whole zigzag going on.
You've got to follow it quite closely.
But he maintains his line, which was the vetting process was done thoroughly.
In other words, he didn't mislead Parliament.
that the reason he fired Ollie Robbins was not because of the vetting process, but simply because he was not told about the red flags.
And so you have got somebody who is still in the job because technically nothing they have said has been proved to be an outright lie to the Commons or to the public.
So it kind of holds together.
I mean, there are also questions.
That's my point.
Just.
So I think the questions I would still have, and some of this goes back to the Robbins testimony, is we talked about the traffic light form, where it was clear that the vetting provider, the vetting service, had put this big red tick in the box.
The big red tick means danger.
You know, basically, do not give him clearance.
Ollie Robbins said he didn't see that form.
So who is the form for?
If it's not for the person making the decision and it's not for the prime minister, who sees the form?
Now, this morning, I've asked that question to about three people, you know, in or around the vetting procedure in the civil service.
And I haven't yet had an answer.
