Being down at Miami a week ago watching practice, they feel like he's a cross between Carson Beck and Cam Ward, with the positives of both, which I think he's another guy in the discussion.

But if you're getting $4 million for a year to be a college football player...

there's not a lot of guys who are going to get that.

I mean, like look at Sam Hartman, Sam Hartman probably got a lot more money and opportunity because he went to Notre Dame.

And then all of a sudden people, you know, like, I don't know if anybody realized Sam Hartman was a good looking guy when he was in the ACC, but when he got to Notre Dame and he became at a huge high profile program, I think there's a lot of other opportunities that come with it.

Right.

So it's not just the,

NIL where oh some big bunny boosters are funneling money to the starting quarterback now all of a sudden it's like when when Caleb was at USC when Bryce Young was at Alabama I think from what I heard the big money they were getting was corporate right it was one of them had like United another one you know that's the Dr. Pepper money

I'm guessing, you know, DJ, you who started out as career Clemson, former five-star probably ended up with a lot more money from, from Dr. Pepper than he did, you know, in professional football at this point.

And so I think there's going to be those guys who are like, Ooh, I might be a fourth or fifth round pick.

The other thing to keep in mind, and obviously you guys played football, you know, played in the NFL was when they're doing these NIL deals, uh,

Some of these agents, the NIL agents, they're taking 20% as opposed to what you were getting, what you guys were probably paying your agents when you were in the NFL.

So think about what the conversations and how they're being told about like, oh, why you should come back.

Well, if I'm an agent and I'm getting this, like my client is getting the same amount of money, but I'm getting 20% of it as opposed to 3%,

Like, where's their self-interest going to be to try to motivate you to go play college football for one more year?

You know, they're going to shop you around.

And so I think that factors in.

I don't think it factors into it with all the kids, but I do think it factors into it with some of the kids because I've heard enough stories of that happening.
