we say well this is putting public health at risk after again we had already collected um about 1500 at that point um of course nothing happens we we get our gloves we get our alcohol swabs uh we put our coats on get back out there um they end up um even though the new york city health commissioner and the mayor and the governor alike said
all is good business as usual ride the subway ride the bus masks don't work um this goes on for about two weeks until literally thousands are now dying um nadler cuomo um and the like get together decide we're gonna terminate the process early
And they changed the requirement to only about 25% of the original or 30%.
Um, so you only need 375 signatures.
We had over 3000.
Okay.
Uh, so this is like mid March or like March 12th, 13th, 14th, like that.
Now, um,
I mean, I'm not sure if the, if the kind of details of this are that interesting to you, but, but just to kind of illustrate, I'll share one story, one part.
Yes.
Okay.
We are 100% on the ballot.
Um, and, but here's, here's the, here, here, here's the kicker.
Um, we were going to be, we were going to have essentially a one-on-one, um,
face-to-face challenge with just us on the ballot and Jerry, because of this whole challenge process, right?
Where you go line by line.
Well, so we were going to have a, so we got someone, so the field has gone from eight to three, including us and Nadler.
It was going to just be us and Nadler, but we were told if you file an invalidating petition to get the other challenger off the ballot,
who has a fairly low ceiling in the district.
This will be an up to six weeks in-person process with members of your team, members of their team, members of the Board of Elections.
