The idea of running a humanity first campaign, I mean, Andrew was, again, if you look at the data on this, it's shocking.
The only candidate who never attacked, never any ad hominems, never any personal attack against any of his competitors, or even Trump, or anyone who had voted for Trump.
In fact, one of the things he said to the tens of thousands of former Trump voters who came over to support his campaign, many people I know very closely,
He said, you count twice like we're not here to to vilify you.
That doesn't get us anywhere.
We're here to offer a vision that you can see yourself in as well.
And I hear you.
It is very hard to do because all of the incentives and forces from whether you're a politician, whether you're a media institution or whether you're even a political party, don't necessarily align with lowering the tension.
with not offering that scapegoat because there's a lot of incentives in place that are predicated upon that scapegoat.
Historically, it's challenging where if you look at structural change and what has enabled it, you're right.
It has been war, Great Depression, great calamity.
like the Great Depression in the last century.
But part of our project, part of what we have to constantly work towards, because there's no inevitability, there's no natural order to history, there's no teleology, is to de-link, de-couple crisis from structural change.
We're entering the next Great Depression, per the Fed.
