What is their why?
And it's kind of struck me with England that there's a real kind of purpose, sense of purpose, almost arrogance to them now.
We are the best league in the world.
We are the, you know, the centre of the footballing universe.
And now's the time to prove it.
They have, you know, maybe not the best squad in terms of talent, but I really love the way that Tuchel has plotted out every area of the pitch and every kind of possible scenario
that he's picked a squad that is calibrated to the demands of a tournament.
They know how to keep the ball now.
They're pretty good at keeping the ball to the point where people start saying it gets boring, but they have the highest possession of European qualified, which is going to be crucial in the heat.
Declan Rice and Elliot Anderson and Drew Bellingham, if he starts...
one of the best midfielders in the tournament and they have the best striker in the world potentially on current form.
So there's, I see no reason why they can't do it.
It's just, can they get over this, you know, the neurosis and the shit that people will throw at them and the kind of the circus that will follow them.
I think that's, that's the big unknown because I think they've got all of the keys this time.
Barry, do you want to come anymore after hearing that?
They're not creative enough.
They're not positive enough.
I don't think so.
I mean, I think Tuchel has shown that he's willing to cull the sacred cows.
I think leaving out Foden and Cole Palmer was just... I know it made sense, but it's an incredible thing for an England manager to do.
