I watched the Super Bowl and saw ads like, yeah, I wonder, are we going to see more and more people use GLP-1s?
So more people are likely to get on these drugs, compounded or the OG version.
But what if losing weight also means losing interest in the things that used to excite you?
All the time, especially when I'm trying to look for something to watch on streaming.
I'll do the endless scroll, I'll watch a ton of trailers, and then end up watching nothing.
Yeah, my brain starts to totally feel like I'm in decision paralysis.
I start second-guessing myself and a lot of the time just end up going with whatever everyone else is doing.
Then I'm glad it's not just me.
And I guess it's a good lesson that you have to trust your gut.
Or in the case of the Pepsi paradox, trust your taste.
Dr. Sarah Lavelle is a clinical psychologist.
She works with people who struggle with food, eating disorders, emotional eating, that kind of thing.
And she spends a lot of time thinking about how this impacts society.
A lot of her patients have tried GLP-1 drugs, and she recently started noticing a new kind of symptom popping up for them.
