Wow.
So does being left-handed mean something is wrong with our microtubules or our tubb4b?
And that determines whether I bat with my left or right hand.
Wow.
You just think that little tiny little thing and just sets up my whole life.
I guess it's the sort of the stone version of Martha Stewart, though.
So this gene doesn't cause left-handedness.
It just shows up at the party every time left-handedness happens.
Crazy.
So two people can share a womb, share a genome, look almost exactly the same, and they still can't sit next to each other at dinner without bumping elbows.
So what, how you chill in the womb is an indicator of your dominant hand for life?
Like a fetus is just vibing and then somehow that predicts if you'll be left-handed?
That seems so random, but I guess that's nature.
Doctor, why is my baby left handed?
Well, his fetus roommate was hogging the right side of the uterus.
So the rest of his life, he's going to be unable to write with a pencil without making a mess.
That's just that's remarkable.
That early, too.
I thought there was more, I guess I thought there was more of a nature versus nurture balance that influenced things later on.
I knew I was a genetic marvel.
