You don't have a lot of time.

Make the main agenda this chat with your brother.

I wouldn't use this letter to argue the facts.

Don't defend your position.

You can do that when you talk if necessary.

The whole thing sounds petty and stupid and probably doesn't even need to be addressed, honestly.

But if your brother accepts the offer, then you know what to do.

Make it safe for him to be totally honest with you.

Listen to him.

Try to understand his perspective, even if most of this has to do with the gals.

Maybe he's got some issues of his own that you guys don't know about or your history is making it hard to talk.

That is fair game.

And then you can share your perspective.
