Man, our kicker is a serial killer.
I'm doing great, Dave.
I really appreciate the opportunity to come on and talk Seahawks Steelers.
See, I actually thought Ryan's point was quite good, but it gets clouded by the fact that he essentially says to Peter, you don't have a seat at the table because you didn't play.
I'm somewhere in the middle.
On one hand, I understand where a player who played in the NFL as long as he did with the success he had, and Ryan Clark would say, you have to have played the game at some position or at some level and had some level of success to have a seat at this table.
In Peter's defense, who I know, I feel like Peter...
has a great understanding of the game because of, hopefully like me, he's talking to a lot of really good people that understand it better than him, and that, therefore, informs his opinion.
That's what I've always respected about Peter.
And I think, you know, he definitely belongs at the table.
So it's somewhere in between.
Kevin Durant once said something like, if you can't make, what was the line, like 10 straight elbow jumpers, then we can't have a conversation about basketball.
And I actually tend to agree with that on some level.
You know, I was fortunate enough to play four years of college basketball and I always felt like it informed me a lot when I talked hoop.
Because I didn't play football competitively, there's absolutely no way, Dave, that I could break down X's and O's the way that someone like Ryan can.
But I'd like to think that me or Peter, because of the opportunity to talk with much smarter people, are able to have an opinion different than someone that did play.
Right.
Both sides can have informed opinions.
And that's what is great.
You have two different opinions, two different landscapes that come together and create some really fun debate.
