I'd say overall, I'm the Mets fan within my friend group that is the most optimistic.

I think I'm kind of the one that kind of keeps everybody pretty rational and pretty even keeled.

At least I try.

There's no guarantee.

But I think for me, after the offseason is always very, very weird.

It's the pacing.

You never know what's going to happen and when things are going to happen.

but we're also a month away from spring training or less.

So it's kind of like things are going to have to get moving.

And I think given the Bichette signing, so many moves have to be made.

And my philosophy is always, if I know as a fan somebody has to get done, I'm pretty sure that David Stearns knows that too.

So I'm not going to be like, oh, how could he not see this?
