But then I didn't realize also deeper that on my mom's side, her mom was a diehard Mets fan too.
So it kind of makes it all work itself out that way.
But that was kind of where it really just began to me kind of just making an arbitrary decision like that.
But then also it kind of really just sticking even more.
And then, yeah, there has this history.

The first ones I can remember, I definitely went when I was a kid, almost like a baby.
Okay, before the John Mayne game.
I think I do remember, though, when I was in elementary school, each year we did do a Mets outing.
The end of the school year, each year we would go.
I remember going to those when I was in first grade.
That was my first time really just actively remembering going to a game
just watching it and then uh i remember at that point being like mom what is an inning what does that mean why is there a mini baseball field out there it was a bullpen so like i was asking like a lot of like the the very basic innocent questions that like somebody who doesn't follow at all wouldn't uh wouldn't know the answer to but um that's really like the earliest like i can physically remember really are those times
I always have a fascination for just venues, even if it's not like a baseball venue, but just seeing a venue of some sort.
And I remember as a kid driving past Shea Stadium, sometimes if you're going into the city, you're like, whoa, that's a big blue building.
And it just kind of fascinated you.
When you walk in, and Shea Stadium is like so unique or was so unique.
I still miss that place.
