I started my first year making $30,000.
They don't pay you more than doubling you at any firm.
So even though I was moving up the ladder fast, I was moving up the ladder fast in pay.
And the reason this story is important, I became a partner very quickly.
Now, when you joined Morgan Stanley out of an Ivy League school, you went to a class, you're an associate, and then there's a set framework of how quickly you can move up.
Because I started with no silo,
I was able to office a firm and become unfettered.
Yeah, I was able to have it.
So I got lucky in the fact that by not paying attention in school, being an underachiever my whole life, but still having a good brain and then finally using it, you know, when I got to Morgan Stanley and enjoying the mathematics and the calculus and everything about it, I was able to move up the ladder.
The reason that's important is because I excelled on curiosity.
I excelled on fearlessness.
And I think what you're seeing in kids, and I say this, why
It's very hard to get a talented domain expert person to use artificial intelligence every single day.
It's really hard.
You have to use it all the time to bring that curiosity out.
I have people say, well, I'm doing prompts.
I'm like, are you using it at home?
Like if your kids are still young,
you have to pay attention to them.
You love them.
