I might have had a little bit beefier legs, but that's it.
So when you're going through it, when you're, you know, I don't know if you've ever seen, I've referenced this all the time, that Kevin Costner, for the love of the game, the clear mechanism, you know, like when you go back to 2003, before we get to like sort of what you did in 2007, was you, do you remember this being like, hey, listen,
I feel good, man.
This is for me.
This is for me.
I'm good.
Do you remember that?
I think I only threw like 120 innings or something like that in the regular season, and a lot of those were down the stretch.
I missed six weeks with a sprained UCL.
So, yeah, I did feel good.
Down the stretch, Jack McKeon was not one that really –
was worried about anybody's career I mean that you could look back before me after me whatever it's he wasn't really concerned about anybody's career but yeah I mean I did feel good but I also had like I lost to Jason Schmidt um I think I threw eight innings seven eight innings but Jason Schmidt at that time was I mean he was the guy I mean he was the Jacob DeGrom of of baseball I mean and
we went out to San Francisco and he just, I mean, I think he had like 11 or 12 strikeouts.
Like, I mean, it looked easy for him.
He threw all fastballs too.
And it was just, there was no chance.
And so I lost to him.
And like I said, I'm not really thinking about it.
Like, but maybe like in my subconscious, you know, it's like we lose one or two to nothing.
Yeah.
