This is why I tend to not get overly involved in this stuff because one thing that I've learned from all this is that I'm not changing anybody's mind.

People are dug in.

All you can do is just sort of behave in a way that you think is right, loving, not filled with hate.

Part of the reason I went back to the church

Honestly, I needed something to rise above the noise because I found myself starting to feel some of this same hatred against the people that I disagree with.
