Let's go back to last year's Kevin Sheedy medal.

So he won it.

Now, we know he's not playing this year, but he's a restricted free agent at the end of 2027.

Finn Callaghan is signed until 2029.

Connor Iden until 2032.

Lockie Ash, we talk about Tom Green.

Lockie Ash would probably be leading their best and fairest this year.

He's an outstanding player.

He, too, is a restricted free agent.

at the end of next year, JJ.

Then we've got Toby Green.

Lockie Whitfield is an unrestricted free agent.

Sam Taylor is signed up until 2032 and has had his injury concerns, but is probably the second best defender in the game behind Harris Andrews.

Himmelberg's up until 2029, Jack Buckley 2030, Aaron Cadman 30.

So they don't have a huge amount of wriggle room either when it comes to a couple of these decisions they could make because a lot of their main guys are long-term deals and the ones that finish shorter are clearly going to be thinking about what does the club look like in the next five years when I'm in the peak of my powers.

And the thing is too, JJ, like almost any ball sport, you need to be able to take the pace off it, the air out of it in certain aspects of the game.

Now, as we talk about a lot, momentum in any sport is the hardest thing to get and also the hardest thing to stop.

And if you don't have the ability to ball control just for a number of minutes,

to take the jam out of the opposition's donuts, the harder you throw a ball up against the wall, the harder it comes back.
