Well, he didn't play at all last year.
That's why there's an entire season, an entire column that's not there.
Yeah, I understand why you're pinning your hopes to Max King and or Will Day, but the reality is these guys miss so much footy.

I was on the list for the first time in 2011.
So, you know, that's a long... That's a reasonably long time.
And I can't even recall anything remotely similar to this.
So, you know, it's such a tricky situation.
Carlton have already got so much else going on in there, which now falls into the background.
I mean...
the decision around is this guy going to be our coach moving forward next week, the week after, the season after, that almost falls into the rearview mirror.
So I've got a lot of empathy for all involved, the Carlton Footy Club, Elijah himself.
I've got a lot of empathy for his brother, Ollie, as well.
I'd imagine this is a really difficult time for him because the dream of playing footy
With a sibling, I would imagine he's enormous.
