When I first got to the Dogs, they were my third-party sponsor, the Grand Hotel.

So I used to go back to the Grand Hotel and do promos there, get on the piss with all my mates.

It was the best.

I'd be behind the bar, like, later at night pouring beers for my mates.

Mate, it was the best ever.

So as part of the contract I had between them, I had to go down and do a certain amount of profiles.

Oh, that sucks.

You didn't have to pull my arm to get me down there.

I was down there all the time.

It was fantastic.

like 10 15 minutes to get down in the car used to be a absolute punish because if the blowhole is working everyone wants to go there and i spoke about it off air um a couple of my mates used to jump into it and jump over the back of it and they'd wait for the buses to turn up when it was a bit of a smaller day and they'd be jumping and they'd be taking photos of them going ah superman and they'd be posing as superman in these photos with them

So it was a great place to grow up.

And that footy ground is probably one of the most picturesque in Australia.

But it was a shit place to play in winter, especially if there was a southerly wind.

Like you could hit a line dropout and it would go 80 on the full.
