If they start to eat real fruit with like a little bit of fiber, their blood sugar levels really won't spike much.
And like with our kids, we educate them, we show them what to do, what not to do, but then they kind of like govern themselves.
They can eat whatever the heck they want to eat.
But for the most part, they feel really, really healthy eating the right foods.
Like my one daughter, she's 14 right now.
She developed just severe anxiety.
And it was really weird.
And it kept lasting for almost two weeks to the point like she didn't want to go to school.
So I was like, what the heck is going on here?
I was like, let's do blood work ASAP.
So I did blood work.
She had a full-blown celiac disease.
And we didn't know that.
She stops eating gluten.
And instantaneously, within a week, her anxiety is gone.
but now she's gluten-free and she cooks all her own stuff and she knows we don't tell her she can't eat gluten but she doesn't because she feels way better eating the right way and now she's kind of the expert in her own health feeling great feeling awesome and she cooks all sorts of fun good stuff but
You know, for me, just being able to educate individuals is really important and empowering to them.
And for my daughter's sake, holy cow, dude, like had I not known that she would have had just severe neurobehavioral issues and it could have infected like her whole life, you know.
Yeah.
It actually stokes curiosity.
