We all make mistakes in life.
How we move forward from them and what we learn, that's what makes us a better person.
What even is this podcast today?
Well, I'm going to try to sound like Mel Robbins or something inspired.
Let them.
Right now, week two, the recap.
Because if you ask me, this week has just been defined by two key moments.
And away from the endless Beck and Gia stuff, which I've covered a lot, so I'm not going to get into.
This week, we had two other women step up and snatch the crown for the most controversial bride.
And firstly, of course, there was Mel, who made this admission to Luke.
Really?
Now the absolute like composure that she held while sharing that so casually as if stalking your ex is like the most normal thing in the world fascinated me and also low-key scared me.
And I think it also scared Luke judging by the look on his face throughout that scene.
And the whole thing for me was giving that, I don't know if anyone remembers from like YouTube 10 years ago, the obsessed girlfriend meme where this random girl decided to rewrite Justin Bieber's song Boyfriend from her perspective as a girlfriend.
It's still viral to this day.
Just have a listen because to me, this is Mel.
don't hide secrets in your house because boy i stole the key girl girlfriend girlfriend i will be your girlfriend i will be your girlfriend i will be your girlfriend thankfully the week these episodes were filmed last year though it did contain some brief joyful luke and my god did he need it and that was all thanks to me after i met him outside when he kind of took a lonely stroll to woolworths and i gifted him a slightly dead potted plant you're luke the farmer
Now I think it's safe to say that the biggest plot twist from this week came from Brooke the model.
Her instant disgust after watching Chris's audition tape and hearing his views on women and their bodies like it had her wanting to run.
And it had her explaining how she's a girl's girl and she won't stand for someone speaking that way, which is a message she continued to convey at the girls' night when she shared with them what Chris has said.
