I used to dance at Juneteenth festivals.
I'm not saying it started too late, though.

Okay, so that's what I'm saying.
But you can't say you didn't feel Juneteenth.
No, like, black people who celebrate, like, came up celebrating Juneteenth.
Like, I danced to Juneteenth festivals growing up.
Like, Juneteenth has always been a thing within our community.
White people didn't recognize it, but we did.
So that's why when you said you didn't feel, and I'm like, that just must be like a New York City thing, possibly?
