Chapter 2: How does the conversation shift towards financial literacy?
I thought it was supposed to be a repeat of a Palooza story. No, you had me waiting. No, I always bought my Palooza tickets. Anyway, it was a Megan Thee Stallion party that he was supposed to meet me at that he decided he wasn't going to go and told me to just use his name. And I used his name and they said, we don't know who the fuck a Rory Farrell is. Hmm.
So I got all dressed up to go to a Megan Thee Stallion fucking pop-up and couldn't get in. Heartbroken. What and where was this? This was like 2019. It was at the Chinese. That was pre-pandemic? It was like the Chinese. That never even happened. That was a simulation. The world started after 2020. Yeah, you know that. Whatever. Chinese theater or Chinese restaurant.
That's like people have stuff in. Something Chinese. Oh, the one in Chinatown? I think so, yeah. Okay. I don't remember that at all, but I mean, I think I know the restaurant you're talking about. I'm sure you don't. Megan was in there and I could have met her and you fucking dropped the ball on me.
If somebody told my name was on the list that I trust, I'm just going to assume it's there and use my name. And if they say to do that, like maybe you just didn't say it correctly. But when you say you could have met Meg, what that mean? Like you was going to just walk up to her? No, it was like one of those close, like intimate when she was doing the hot girl, the hot girl, like pop up party.
She was like walking around. She was. Yeah. She was like dancing with her fans and stuff like that. This was back. Like I said, this was back 2019. So it was a little bit different. She was still doing like promo shit.
Yeah.
She wasn't like selling out arenas yet. But then, I mean, if you think about it. Oh, was she? 2019? No. I don't think she was selling on arenas yet. No. She could have, but no. But, you know, Damaris is charming towards women. That could have been some butterfly effect. Like, what if they hit it off that night and then Damaris ended up in that car?
And the car that the nigga was complaining that they was eating coochie in? No, no, no. Yeah, because that was probably that night. The one with gun residue in it. Oh. Oh, my God. Why would you? I saved your life. No, but that was in L.A., though. That wasn't. I'm saying they could have hit it off and she could have been the new Kelsey. Okay, let's. No. Hi, everybody.
Welcome to New Rory and Maul.

Chapter 3: What insights do the hosts share about relationships and personal experiences?
I don't think banks closed Juneteenth last year. I don't think so. I could be wrong. Listen, they texted us at 9 p.m. that there was no daycare today. Like all of us had the day off or some shit. So everything probably went into effect last night. Right at 9 p.m. At the end of the work day yesterday, they was like, all right. They decided. That's good. They were closed last year. Okay.
Well, happy Juneteenth. I always thought Juneteenth was just like a social media holiday. 2021. It's been a... Why would you think it was a social media holiday? When you said that in the group chat, I just kind of like looked at it. It would have been worse if I said that. In shame. It is just a social media holiday as far as I'm concerned. You don't feel Juneteenth.
Well, this is the second year that it's been. You don't feel June is a national holiday. We didn't even know the Banks was closed last year. Because it just happened. They didn't know the Banks was closed.
This is 2021.
It's been closed. I've been celebrating Juneteenth since I was five years old. I used to dance at Juneteenth festivals. I'm not saying it started too late, though. recognized by the United States as a day off.
No, that I understand.
Federal day off. That started in 2021. Okay, so that's what I'm saying. But you can't say you didn't feel Juneteenth. No, like, black people who celebrate, like, came up celebrating Juneteenth. Like, I danced to Juneteenth festivals growing up. Like, Juneteenth has always been a thing within our community. White people didn't recognize it, but we did.
So that's why when you said you didn't feel, and I'm like, that just must be like a New York City thing, possibly? Probably. But in the South, that's a... That's a real fucking holiday. Oh, I'm saying I can't speak for the South. I'm never speaking for the South. I'm speaking for five boroughs, New York City. But yes, we are back. End of the week. Yes.
Happy Friday, Saturday, Sunday, whenever you are listening to this. Another week sponsored by Boost Mobile. Absolutely. Shout out to Boost. We're going to boost right through the weekend. A lot did happen over... Last night? Overnight? Yeah. Well, did a lot of stuff happen last night? I don't know. It's been a few days.

Chapter 4: How does Pusha T's diss toward Travis Scott unfold?
But I don't... I mean, after what Travis did, I don't see... I would look at that shit goofy and weird. Yeah. I don't see that happening. Um... So here's the thing, I don't know much about the Kardashian gossip and I'm not gonna pretend to, I'm actually happy. And you know what? I could have done the research, but I don't want to. I hope all the pod fans go, you know what?
I'm glad you didn't research that one. But he is, in fact, push a T for sure. Because the timeline is going to find that shit out off one bar. Because I thought it was clever with the Cher A&E thing with Amber Rose's baby mother, dated Cher. Baby father. Listen, who knows at this point? There was a fight. People are sharing chicks. I don't know what goes up in them nasty ass hills.
Yeah, they're saying that A.E., Cher's boyfriend, who used to be Amber's boyfriend got into a fight with Travis and apparently beat Travis up. That's what it said. That he lost. And Pusha is alluding that he has... See, this is where... That he has the video. This is where Pusha reminds us that he's still very clever. I can share and A.E. it. And A.N.E. does... Yeah. You know, A.E.
is Cher's boyfriend. All right, Push. One score for Push.
I can A.E. that.
I put it on the TV. I like that. See how hip-hop can be clever? I like that. But I love... Push said this about, I think, Kanye a few weeks ago, too, after the Ace of Trumpets rollout, when he said, but I can't unsee it. The shit people do in front of Pusha T that disgusts him should be studied. I feel like Push just walks around and he's just like, ugh.
Just like that.
But see, you know why I love it, though? Because... Pushers like me, we at that get off my lawn era in our life. Where it's like, we came up in this shit and now we just disgusted. Like, yo, look at you little dirty. Get out of here. Don't talk to me. Get away from me. Like, shut up. Sometimes you got to tell, yo, shut up, man. Like, I don't care that you lit and you sold a bunch. Shut up. Yeah.
Because that's what this is as far as pushers are concerned. Travis is lit. Travis is more popular than Pusha T. You know, more successful as far as numbers than Pusha T. All of that. Pusha don't give a fuck about none of that. Shut up. Sit down and shut up. You're not a rapper. Shut up. Stop acting like a rapper. Stop trying to talk like a rapper. Stop trying to move like a rapper.

Chapter 5: What insights does Joy Taylor share about her dating life?
But I do say that when I get one right out front. Yeah, like, thank God. But you're not literally like, God prepared this parking spot for me and this blessing today. Yeah. Because so I didn't get the parking spot because you got there two seconds earlier. So I don't get the blessing. Mm-hmm. They do that in sports a lot. Like, I laugh when players do that.
What do you feel about when players do that?
Chapter 6: How does personal podcasting impact Joy's relationships?
Like, God made this for me. Like, when Halliburton be like, I just want to thank God, you know, so God wasn't with Shea last night. He wasn't part of the journey. First of all, Satan sent Halliburton, so that's, I don't know what he thinking, God. Oh, yes. That's how all New Yorkers feel after what he did. After what he did.
That's the devil.
No, he's the devil. He's the devil.
Chapter 7: What are the complexities of heartbreak discussed?
He has the three sixes on his arm. So what's worse, the guy that enters the room on religion or the guy that gets caught doing some nasty shit and then immediately has to bring God into the situation on his reply? Tyler Perry? Diddy. Tyler's crazy. Love Tyler. We all love Tyler. Oh, Lord. Tyler is a fucking icon in every sense of the word. Great story.
Chapter 8: How do gender dynamics play a role in dating conversations?
Yeah, now leave with all respect. It's cool.
Yeah, I understand. What he's doing in Atlanta. I'm just saying. His compound. It's incredible.
To have these allegations.
Mm-hmm.
And then the next time we hear from you, you're on IG Live singing a Negro spiritual or whatever he was singing, a gospel. That's what I'm talking about. It's like, cool, we got it. We know that, you know, saying you're religious and not saying you're guilty. You believe that, you know, God is going to protect you through this, which you're about to go through. I'm all for that.
I'm just saying when you go on IG Live. And your first response is to recite a gospel song. And that's it? And you just end the live? It's like, yeah. Whatever they say you did, you did that shit. People, one, would feel like that. Do you think that would be in his screenplay, that exact scene? Because that's how I feel it would go. His life is a screenplay, in my opinion. 100%.
And that's the thing, too, that people don't talk about. I think that people that are so gifted at acting, writing... and things like that, when do we know when they're being their true selves? Or when they... But we never know until a period. Because if Al Perry decides to wake up and he has this movie in his head, and all day he's going to live this movie... You wouldn't know that.
I mean, most people do. I know, but with Tyler, I don't know. I don't want to shit on Tyler's ability because he is that legend is on right. But like when Denzel was in training day, I saw that crooked cop. I knew it was Denzel, but I saw that cop. When I see Madea, I just see Tyler Perry. Now you bugging.
I don't see the character. Madea is a whole entity.
