Well, I did that, but I hated it.
It's just, that's just not what I'm called to, it's not me.
And the first time I tried to hand somebody a tract, they slapped it out of my hand.
And I thought, oh my gosh.
And so I tried that, that didn't work.
They needed help in the nursery.
I tried working in the nursery.
And within two weeks, me and the kids knew that wasn't my gift.
But when I started this Bible study, because I had led a girl that I worked with to the Lord, and
while I was walking away from her, the Lord said to me, you can't leave her like that.
And I thought, well, what do you want me to do to her?
And he said, teach her the word.
And I said, well, I don't know how to teach.
He said, I know it, but I do.
And so I went to my then Lutheran pastor and said, if you were gonna teach the Bible, where would you start?
And he said, the book of John.
And he told me about a Thompson chain reference.
And I didn't have any idea.
