I was, I had so many problems.
I was manipulative and controlling and I got angry easy and just, you know.
It was bad for a while.
And even though I was going to church, the church I was in, I wasn't learning much.
There was a lot of teaching on doctrine.
But I wasn't learning how to live.
You left hungry.
I think that, you know, people need good, solid doctrine.
But people just want to know how to live.
They want to know how to be happy.
They want to know how to have peace in their life.
That's why I like to keep my teaching practical and get practical stories, whether it's from my own life
You know, I've usually had enough stuff going on in my own life that I didn't have to use parables.
To reach for something real.
I think it's in Matthew 6.
