But if you're trying to do something and you're just laboring with it all the time, all the time, all the time, and it's hard for people to do, but if we check our motives, why are we doing this to be seen of people?
to be, even to think well of yourself.
You know, I'm really a good person.
And so, when you start asking people to look at not what they're doing, but why they're doing it, because that's what God cares about.
Not what are you doing, but why are you doing it?
If we do things for the right reason,
then they come easier.
That's exactly the kind of thing I'm talking about.
It all really comes from developing that personal relationship with God and learning how to trust him in every area.
It's really freeing when you come to the point where you don't have to know.
Well, I mean, where you don't have to know everything.
You know, I mean, there's things going on in my own life right now, just like there is everybody else's.
I need God to do something while I don't know what he's going to do.
I don't know when he's going to do it, but I have enough of a relationship with him that I know he won't leave me stranded.
I know that he'll come through, and he'll come through in time.
Like I said, I had so much guilt because I thought that what my dad did to me was my fault.
And, of course, that was not true, but I didn't know that it wasn't true.
And so I really had a lot of things wrong with me.
I mean, when I first started teaching, I was teaching a home Bible study, and I was teaching in short shorts and blowing smoke in everybody's face from one cigarette after the other.
Now, there would be a lot of people that would tell you, no way would God use somebody like that.
