Doesn't matter.
It didn't matter because everyone could see it worked.
No, I don't think it has gone down.
I think it's just a different sort of brainpower and different experiences.
But there are some very intelligent people in Parliament and some very good, hardworking people.
And when I was talking to some of them yesterday afternoon after my speech, they
Look, they try their best.
I don't know of people who go to Parliament just to think it's some sort of jolly.
They almost always believe that they're going to make a positive difference.
And even if I might think that their politics are somewhat deluded and that they are wrong on things, I don't doubt their sincerity.
I think it's really hard for people who don't have a stable family.
I think it's very hard for people who are worried to try and meet anybody, for instance, because in Parliament, you're just busy all the time.
You don't finish till 10 o'clock at night.
And your weekends are normally full with work.
I'm really looking forward to having a weekend, but I'm very fortunate that my husband and son have been very supportive.
But my advice to everybody is ring your family every single night and tell them what's gone on that day and then get the advice for what you should have done.
Yes, it is.
Well, I'm really excited about it.
And in fact, I'm popping up to the Law Commission today to work out logistics for the shift and things.
And I just think it's going to be great because part of the work of the Law Commission, well, its work is to be a legal research foundation, essentially, for government and others, but mostly the government and or the courts, I mean, and is in government.
