They, sure enough, did their own podcast.
The clock was ticking for Peter Chadwick.
Sergeant Depwig came into my office and started talking to me about the Chadwick case and said that we needed to republicize this story.
He just sat there and said, you know, what's your idea?
And I think I blinked like a deer in the headlights.
And then I looked at him and said, you know, the only thing I can think of would be something like a podcast, but that would be a lot of work and I don't really know how to do it.
I was so intimidated by the scope of this project.
It's not necessarily something that's in my wheelhouse.
They take their own people within the department, within the prosecutor's office, the investigators, everybody, and incorporate them into a phenomenal podcast that takes this case from A to Z. We had a microphone that we were able to get.
They, sure enough, did their own podcast called Countdown to Capture.
The first episode went out on September 17th of 2018.
