There's no other way to describe it.
It was the Cleveland Playhouse.
That's where I was before I came to New York.
And I went in as a student, and I ended up on staff, and I was there for five years in all.
And that's where I started.
I had always danced, but I started singing there.
And they put me into almost every musical as the comedian.
And so when I went to New York, I went with a group of people from there.
And it was just like everybody assumed this is what I was going to do.
And this is what I ended up doing for about 20 years.
I think it was for me, too.
It gives you, when you're able to do it, it gives you confidence.
It really does.
You think I could do almost anything.
Yeah.
I've kept him healthy and alive and everything.
It was a period when all at once we were getting a lot of โ I was living in New York, and we were getting more film here.
And friends of mine who were actors were working on the film, small roles, but they were enjoying it and getting money and everything.
So I went to my agent, and I said, everybody I know is working in film, and I think I should be too.
He said, okay.
