You know, you guys mentioned, or sorry, in our group chat, Sam sent like, hey, Morgan Riley said some interesting stuff today.
You know, maybe when we'll get to that about him waxing nostalgic a little bit about being here.
But I was just thinking like...
Morgan can't possibly know if he's going to leave or be asked to leave because they don't know who's making decisions and what they want to do.
Like, there's no, like, he's kind of generally going to weigh in on it, and we'll get to that in one sec.
But, like, who owns the Chiefs?
Well, I think there is, you know, there's an article in the star today about this, about potential reshuffling, you know, I don't know with Rogers buying a piece of the team and how does that change ownership structures and,
Like, I just think there's a lot to sort out before you can... That was... Who wrote that?
analytic darling be their first major announcement it just seems unlikely to me unless you decide like the structure needs to be decided first i i guess it's possible listen this guy has also he's got quite the resume you know being a professional poker player and playing guitar in new orleans and like he's a he's done a lot of stuff he's an interesting guy i i don't know enough about him to be like yeah he can run a
you know, have it be just Pelly or whoever and then him.
To me, it's like I look at the investments that these companies, Rogers in particular, has made in the Blue Jays, right?
Like hundreds of millions of dollars into where they play, and it's fantastic now, and Dunedin is better and all that, and it makes it a more appealing environment.
You get more players.
You get more competitive.
To me, it's like if on the hockey side, if you need to invest in another job, whatever it costs,
If it helps you make better decisions, get better players in, fundamentally you'll be a better team.
You'll sell more tickets.
You want to be successful at the end of the day, and I think it requires another person.
