There was a few different ideas pitched in that piece.
You just hope that there's time enough to make these decisions for the Leafs' sake before they may potentially have first, fifth, or no draft pick, which changes how you operate, right?
Like if they don't get a draft pick this year at all, so one of them is paid, next year's is top 10 protected, you're much more willing to be bad next year.
Like, it's an option all of a sudden.
And that changes โ I'm just saying it changes strategy for how you operate going into next season.
So, you know, there are decisions that are going to have to be made by May.
Why would it not be a superstar player in the top 10?
