Hey, guys.
Great to be with you and great to get a win here in Yankee Stadium.
I know you've already talked about Spencer Miles a little bit.
You know, he had been elite against the righties all year.
But going into tonight, you know, 271 average against lefties could have been a bit of a blow-up spot in a, you know, a daunting ballpark Yankee Stadium with an elite top of the order.
But, man, he was absolutely nails all night.
He just, similar to Trey, I think, from last night, they have this presence on the mound where you just feel confident and obviously small sample size, but what an acquisition by the front office to find him and pick him and now put him in spots to succeed.
So kudos to Spencer, kudos to the front office.
To answer your question at the top of the show there, I feel marginally better about the team after this series, but ultimately the
offense will determine how far this team will go in my opinion um you know it'll be nice to get Shane back this pitching uh is for sure top tier you know got to be a top five pitching staff right now um but uh but yeah the offense still is not looking uh elite as it was last year I wonder if you guys wouldn't mind let's go back to last night's game and ask uh maybe Kevin um
That pop-up with that dropped in left with Pignango and Kaz, Kazuma has had a couple of these plays where it doesn't look like he's saying anything.
It looks a little tentative on the communication aspect.
Kevin, I'm sure you've played with guys who don't speak much English.
Is that a factor with these types of plays where the communication is just a little bit more difficult or is noise noise?
You should be making it no matter what.
Yeah.
So, yeah, I'm just curious about that.
And I'll end with this.
The Yankees, you know, they're 10 games over .500, but they really don't look like it.
They remind me a lot of last year's team, obviously an elite pitching staff, but I still think there's holes in that team, and I think the Jays, you know, match up against them well in general.
