They were organised, especially with Antonio Conte, they were really good organised.
We created a space, we found them, we played in them,
But we didn't score the goals in these moments, so we were quick in mind after set pieces, we did really, really well.
We deserved a lead, I would say, for half-time.
Before half-time we had these moments when Chelsea came a little bit better in the game, it was only because we stopped playing football,
We need to get used to it, to be in the lead against a really strong side, and we need to learn how we can manage the game then, with still a lot of power in our legs, with 100 per cent concentration, because that's different to the second half,
In the second half he did it then after they scored a goal really well, but differently, it was deeper, it was really passionate defending, all that stuff, and everybody who saw until now the Chelsea games how often they scored in the last few seconds with their very direct style, they can really say, OK, Liverpool did not too bad because I cannot remember a lot of chances in this moment, the biggest was then Divock Origi, so it could have been 3-1, but 2-1 I'm completely fine with.
Start, the middle and the finish.
But of course we had a few moments where we were not so good, but that's normal.
They are too strong to have them the whole game.
or be perfectly organised that they have absolutely no space to play, that's not possible, so for that they are too strong.
But the beginning was brilliant, brilliant from my side.
We played football like hell, it was really nice to watch, and we scored the goals in other moments, quick in mind, after set-pieces, which we didn't do too often, but it was wonderful.
What can I say?
And then the second half, of course, it's a little bit more difficult, with less power, it's getting intense.
We invested a lot more in the first half than Chelsea, so Chelsea came there in the second half.
That's not too fair, but it's normal.
They scored a goal in the after-goal, then we managed it again, it was absolutely OK, not a lot of chances for them.
Or we never thought about anything else.
I told the lads before the game, everything can happen, there's absolutely no guarantee of getting a result at Chelsea, but if we lose, then our way.
