I don't, especially being diagnosed now, I don't try to get hung up on it, right?
I usually look at it as a deficit, but now I look at it as kind of like a superpower.
Because when I'm helping people and they're crying, I don't get in the weeds.
You know what I mean?
I can still remain cognizant and still help you through and talk to you through what you're going through.
Right.
And still empathize with you at the same time like that.
And that really does suck that you went through that experience.
this might be why they did this to you.
So I feel like the emotional empathy that I do have is kind of reserved for the people that are closest to me, like for her, my kids and stuff like that.
It's kind of like you,
The further you get away from the center, the less it is, you know?
Right.
And that's typically helped me out.
Because, like, all of the thousands of stories that I've heard, I've heard some horrible, horrible stuff.
For sure.
You know, I've had people cry 30, 45 minutes through this stuff.
I was like, oh, my goodness.
Like...
I can imagine going through this, and it just sucks to live through this.
