The argument I've seen, which I do understand, which is that, well, if you're trying to save people who might be suffering or dying, and then you're giving some people a placebo, then you're allowing them to suffer more. But I also think at the same time... just the lack of confidence that so many people have in public health now, that's a disaster. That has to be fixed.
