Like he'd just delight me endlessly on what mischief he would get up to because he became the first to drive.
So we would go to each other's parties and he would be the designated driver.
He and Gumpy Phillips, a very extreme and crazy kid.
And
We would listen to David Bowie on repeat.
And we were living, we were pretending we were in the streets of London, running from things, running towards things, running away from things, making mischief.
And my brother was a mod, so I followed him into that trend.
And then he got into like a rhythm of blues and started playing guitar, rock guitar, like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Hendrix.
And then I invited him in my band.
And then he started to just... Which was like funk, funk pop, soul.
Yeah, and I had Steve Kearney on the drums.
Right.
Also comedy.
Well, The Last Laugh was the home of Gina Riley and Ricky.
That was the seed for all of what I consider Melbourne comedy, actually.
And I was sort of half raised with wild punk...
